This day was all about celebrating a man I am incredibly proud of. ❤️ While there wasn’t a stage to walk across, that doesn’t make this accomplishment any less significant. In fact, I think it makes it even more inspiring. Over the last few years, I’ve watched Kweli juggle being an amazing dad, working night shift, showing up for our family, and then coming home to spend countless hours completing online classes and assignments when most people would have already called it a day. There were plenty of late nights, early mornings, sacrifices, and moments where giving up would’ve been easier. But he kept going. There were also opportunities he hoped for that didn’t work out at the time. Jobs he wanted that he didn’t get. Moments that could have made him question the process. But God had a different plan. And now, after all of the hard work, dedication, and faith, he not only graduated and landed one of his dream jobs.😭🥹 It’s such a beautiful reminder that not every closed door is a rejection, sometimes it’s simply redirection. God’s timing doesn’t always make sense when we’re in the middle of it, but looking back, it’s clear He was working everything out exactly the way it was supposed to happen. Seeing everyone come together to celebrate him made my heart so full. The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to have people in your corner who genuinely support you, cheer for you, and show up for your biggest moments. Watching his friends take time out of their lives to be there and celebrate this accomplishment meant so much. The people who show up when it matters are truly the ones who leave the biggest impact. I am so proud of the man you are, the father you are to our babies, and the example you set every single day. You showed our family what perseverance looks like. You showed our children what it means to work hard for something, even when it’s difficult. This accomplishment wasn’t handed to you. You earned every bit of it. Congratulations, my love . This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to watch everything you’ve worked so hard for continue to unfold. ❤️🎓 #fyp #foryou
