I'm a person with a real god complex and I want to talk about how it affects me. A god complex is when someone has inflated or more intense beliefs and thoughts of superiority, entitlement, ability, and privilege. A person with a god complex could feel like the most confident person on earth and that they're full of ego. I feel full of myself all the time. I experience something that causes this ego to shatter. I think I'm the best person on this earth and that I'm above everyone else. I'm fully convinced I have unique skills and powers and that I deserve special treatment because of it. This really affects how I interact with other people. Nobody is as good as me and most people aren't valuable enough to be associated with me. There's only some exceptions of rare people that I deem interesting enough to be around. I find most people weak and idiotic. I'm very very sensitive to criticism, even when it's with good intentions. I take it as a personal attack because like, why is someone I deem lower in worth than me acting like they know better than me? I like attention no matter what it is and belief that people know I'm superior, so they try to bring me down or engage. If people dislike me, it's obviously because of jealousy. And I know this is very stereotypical, but I do truly believe I have the abilities comparable to a god. I feel like a god all the time. Keep in mind that most people with a god complex are mentally ill, including me. Hating on anyone with it is just pure ableism, even if you find their beliefs delusional or cringe. Help them get better instead.
