Here's the original behind Travis Scott's cover art

the name astroworld comes from a real place 🎢 six flags astroworld was a houston theme park travis grew up going to as a kid. it got torn down in 2005, so he tried to give that feeling back in his music. he called on david lachapelle, the photographer behind some of the most surreal images in music, and turned a giant gold head of himself into the entrance of an amusement park. two versions, one day and one night. billboard ended up naming it album cover of the year. travis is a master at marketing and world building, arguably more than the music itself. but what do you think? // follow for more via @david_lachapelle
