1⃣ He doesn’t tell anyone when something’s eating him alive. He’ll carry it for weeks. Months. Sometimes years. Stress, heartbreak, fear, doubt. He’ll sit there with it quietly because growing up there wasn’t anyone sitting down saying “talk to me, what’s going on.” 2⃣ When something good happens, he doesn’t really share it. Promotion. Big moment. Something he’s proud of. He might mention it casually or not at all. Because as a kid there wasn’t someone excited beside him saying “fuck yeah, I’m proud of you.” 3⃣ When he’s hurting, he disappears. He goes quiet. Works more. Trains harder. Stays busy. Not because he wants distance. Because showing pain was either ignored, brushed off, or made things worse. 4⃣ Being looked after feels uncomfortable as hell. Someone cooking for him. Checking on him. Asking if he’s alright. Part of him appreciates it. Another part doesn’t know what the fuck to do with it. 5⃣ He’s the one everyone leans on, but he rarely leans back. Friends call him when they’re struggling. Family expects him to handle things. He’ll show up every time... but very few people know what’s going on inside him. 6⃣ He’s brutally self-reliant. Car breaks down. Relationship problems. Work stress. His brain doesn’t think “who can help me?” It goes straight to alright... how the hell do I deal with this myself. 7⃣ He’s always slightly guarded emotionally Even with people he loves. Even when things are good. Because the boy he once was learned that opening up didn’t always lead to someone being there. 8⃣ He learned early that feelings were his problem to carry. Crying annoyed people. Fear got dismissed. Anger got punished. So he buried the whole lot and just kept moving #relationships #fyp #knowledgesharing #phycologyfacts #relationshipcoach
