I made over 2,000 sales in my first 3 months on Etsy, here’s exactly what I did: ➡️ researched before I created anything. I only built listings where the data showed real demand. And before I even listed anything I spent a few months learning everything I could about the Etsy algorithm. ➡️ filled out every section Etsy gives you. Shop title, announcement, policies, message to buyers. Most sellers skip this. All of it helps rank on Etsy’s algorithm ➡️ used all 140 characters in my title and all 13 tags every single time. (And never any 1 word tags either!) Leaving any of these empty is leaving sales on the table ➡️ created two versions of every listing. Different title, different cover photo. Let them run side by side and kept whichever one performed better ➡️ added a video to every listing. It took 2 extra minutes and and Etsy has even said listings with videos perform better! ➡️ when something sold well I doubled down.
