here's how you can get started with digital planning, what to do and some quick tips. One of the main questions I get on all my videos is, okay, but how do you do it? The first thing you want to do is upload your PDF digital planner to Goodnotes or a PDF annotation app. Goodnotes is my favorite one. When it's in read only mode, that's when you can jump through the hyperlinks. And then take it out of read only to start editing your planner. Your toolbar is located at the top right here. This is all the different tools you can use. In the pen tool, you have your pen, pencil, highlighter, different tapes. But for basics, I always use the pen tool and the text box tool. This is where you can write it out and have your writing turn into your default font. And for that, go into settings and then Apple Pencil and just make sure scribble is turned on. For your font, you can set your default font, so it saves that one every time you use the text box tool. This is great for keeping everything uniform and neat. So in the pen tool, I like to play around with the different sizes and you can change it to dotted, dashed or solid. It's fun to use the dotted for little designs. Press and hold and it will make a perfect shape. There's just so many different things you can do. Digital planning is amazing because you have unlimited colors in pen, highlighter tool. You can create your own colors and then add them to your presets. I use the highlighter tool at the largest setting for my bullet points and habit tracker, or different list. Another positive of digital planning is your endless stickers are endless elements. So if you go to your elements tool, you can keep all of your different sticker packs in here. You can adjust the size, the position, or one of my favorite things to do is to pull up a split screen with your photo album, then time to select the subject of your photo and drag and drop it as a sticker. Like how cute is that? I mostly like to just do weekly layouts, but if you have a day that's a little crazy, that's on the page. You can just click on the day and have your daily planning page right here. One of my new major planners is more of a bullet journal style if you like more simple things. So this one only has a weekly layout. Digital planning is seriously one of my favorite hobbies. I love to use it for journaling, vision boards. Let me know specific questions you may have, and I can definitely deep dive more into each category.
