At Kim Sơn, you’ll find 100+ traditional Vietnamese dishes at any given time from noodle soups and grilled meats to dim sum, Vietnamese desserts, and a tea bar loaded with jellies and basil seeds After fleeing Vietnam, Mama La arrived in Houston in 1980 with her family. Unable to bring anything with them, she memorized more than 250 family recipes before opening Kim Son in 1982. At a time when many Houstonians only knew Chinese food, the La family helped introduce authentic Vietnamese cuisine to the city. Today, Kim Son is considered one of Houston’s landmark restaurants. 📍 10603 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77072 #houstontx #hiddengems #vietnamesefood #thingstodo #supportlocalbusiness
