Mist the hair with water or a liquid leave in before a comb even touches it. Moisture is mandatoryyyyyy!!!!!!! 🧩 Section it. Work on sections, okay? Don't just be going at it. Sections. Use a wide tooth comb. That was the only thing that I saw correct in this video. If you have curly hair, are you spraying it with the water or you using like one of those like detanglers? Please remember, you don't ever detangle dry hair.

Work in small, manageable sections so you aren't fighting the hair. 🧴 Use a product with more slip if you need it. Coat the strands in a good detangling cream or conditioner so your tools can glide through easier. 🔝 Start from the bottom. Grab a wide tooth comb and gently work your way from the ends up to the roots. ⛏️ Pick the roots only. If you're using a metal pick for volume, just lift at the base. Don't pull it all the way through the ends or you'll cause instant breakage.
