Things content creators accidentally reveal online

Things that you should stop sharing online. I'm looking at you influencers, content creators, and all of that. Number one, stop showing your house number. And I know it sounds obvious, but people post aesthetic videos walking into their houses and then the house number is right there. Combine that with your name or the views from your balcony and you've made yourself very easy to find. Number two, your routine. Let's say you like to go for a run every day at 6 AM and you like to show us your route. And then you show us that you go home, you take a shower, and go to work. You have unintentionally published your schedule to everyone out there. Number three, your children's school uniform. And this happens so often and I get surprised every single time. It happens. Listen, if you feel the need to post your kids online, at least make sure they're wearing something other than school uniform. Number four, your boarding pass. And I think this is self-explanatory. No need to say more. Number five, your real-time location. I think this is self-explanatory as well. Number six, again, this applies to people who like to make day-in-the-life videos. I've seen people expose their work budgets, their sticky notes with things like passwords, their calendars, or even whiteboards that may contain sensitive information. Number seven, when you receive packages, they usually have labels on them and probably like your full address. If you're going to post a package, make sure you're not showing us that information. Number eight, your car, your license plate. And your hotel room numbers when you're still there. I think that is self-explanatory as well. Now, it's okay to share your experience, but just make sure you're not broadcasting everything to the internet. Less information, less risk. Happy learning.
