Replying to @stelllarosee Thank you so much for asking this question and wanting to learn more about CRPS🧡 The best thing a healthcare provider can do for their patients with CRPS is listen to them and advocate for them and their needs the best that you can. If we are in the hospital for pain it means it has gotten so uncontrollable at home and that we are out of options. Just listening to us and trying to find the best care plan possible will mean so much. Also asking before touching/examining a CRPS patient is a big part. You never know where someone may have CRPS, whether it’s in one limb or full body so just asking before examining or even taking a blood pressure test can save them from a lot more pain. If you have CRPS or chronic illness is there anything else you wish people in the healthcare field could do to help when they are treating you? . . #chronicillness #raredisease #crps #chronicpain #hospital
