I have been bedridden for almost 11 months now and I am so grateful that we were able to find a portable x-ray. This tool saved me from so much pain, time in the ER, and exhaustion. When you are bedridden and have a medical emergency it can be very challenging. Having an x-ray tool that can be brought to my bedside was incredible. It took only a few minutes and we got our answer to whether my hickman line was out of place within minutes. I have CRPS in my line so we think it’s just getting worse and that’s why I have had so much pain in my line. Even though I was in a lot of pain following it, it would have been so much worse if I had gone to the ER.
