Award Flight Search Tools

The number one tool I use to find award flights isn't the one most influencers tell you about. I'm Andy, the travel guy next door. I'm here to help you save money on travel by booking with points and miles. I don't pay for any of these tools, so I only have experience with the free versions. For everyday searches, PointsYeah is a great tool. It searches over 20 different airlines. It shows you which points you can transfer. It even flags transfer bonuses. It's fast and it's beginner friendly. For last minute availability, I use Seats.aero. The free version only allows you to 60 days out. Keep in mind, none of these tools have real-time data, so always double check on the carrier site to confirm availability. Now the number one tool I use? It's pretty boring, individual airline sites. Using the tools mentioned above, you'll begin to understand what carriers fly, who can book what partners, which airlines generally have premium cabin availability consistently. We have the luxury without having to worry about school schedules, so a lot we're planning almost a year out. When we're travelling overseas, we're business class flights. So based on where we wanna go and understanding who can get us there, I'm only looking across a few different airline sites for either direct award availability or partner availability.
