Let's make some mayak eggs. I have been so lazy to cook these days, but I still wanna eat healthier. So today we're making something simple, but still gives you a good source of protein. Six to seven eggs and boiling them in hot water for seven minutes to get that perfect yolk in the center. After seven minutes, we're gonna take out the eggs and put it in an icy bath. While we wait for our eggs, let's make the sauce. We're gonna start with an equal part of soy sauce. And I realize that I don't have a measuring cup, so we're gonna be using this soy sauce. One cup of water now. Let's work on the vegetables to put inside. We're gonna start by chopping some onions into the sauce. Next, some spring onions. Some people like to put jalapeno, but I don't have any, so we're gonna be putting some Thai chilies instead. Some grated garlic. Also like to add some cilantro, like I love cilantro in everything. Some people like to add sugar, but my skin don't do very well with sugar, so we're gonna be adding some honey instead. You know me, you know I love my chili crisp, so adding some spicy chili crisp from Lao Gan Ma. Last but not least, we have some sesame oil and sesame seeds. It's time to add the eggs in. I am so excited. It fits perfectly. I'm gonna like, put the sauce all over so that it can, um, marinate better. Hardest part about this recipe is that you cannot eat this immediately, and we have to let it sit for at least 12 hours. So come back tomorrow for the results.
