Madini

Why it worked

The video effectively uses a personal narrative and relatable origin story to connect with the audience. By highlighting the challenges and resourcefulness involved in starting the business, it builds authenticity and makes the brand, Madini, more memorable.

Summary

The speaker, Kennedy, recounts the origin story of Madini, a purified drinking water brand. He explains how the idea stemmed from observing long queues for milk ATMs and the lack of readily available water refills. Facing financial challenges, he sold his wife's car and secured a loan from his sister-in-law to establish their first water shop in 2019.
