I stopped by 1888 Coffee Company near Lake Merritt (right across from the Children’s Fairyland entrance) and tried one of their stuffed croissants… and WOW. Did I just find the best stuffed croissant breakfast sandwich in Oakland? This was ridiculously buttery and flaky, but the green salsa, oh my goodness, it took the sandwich to a whole another level.
