I am super passionate about cleaning, borderline a little cuckoo, so I'm going to share with you some of my favorite tips and tricks. 1. spray hypochlorus acid on mattress & bed frame to kill bacteria 🦠 I've talked about this before but hypochlorus acid is my favorite. I spray this on anything that is hard to like clean and put in the washer. I like to clean my sheets and my mattress protector. I like to just come in and spray hypochlorus acid all over the mattress, my bed frame. This gets rid of any and all bacteria. I usually like to do it when I can open my windows and make sure this dries accordingly. It is literally like 95 degrees out, so I'm not doing that. But I think the heat in the house will dry it off. 2. unstoppables 26 on sheets / linens 🤍 Since I'm doing my sheets and my mattress protector, I like to put on unstoppables 26. This just makes my room smell good. Obviously, the sheets and the aroma is incredible. 3. dryer sheets on baseboards Okay, you guys know I love my dryer sheets. So we're going to take one. I love to wipe my baseboards or surfaces with the dryer sheet. It leaves a coating on surfaces that makes it harder for dust to stick. 4. spray sink with Dawn powerwash 🫧 Okay, I will be out of town for a bit, so I like to peck away at little things prior to leaving the house. It has to be spotless. So anyways, I hate smells, literally horrified of them. And I have to have to have to make sure my sink is clean. Your garbage disposal specifically will lead to so many smells if it's not. So anyways, I love to just take the Dawn power wash and do a quick spray and wipe clean. 5. pour white vinegar down drain to prevent odors I love to take, you know, my jug of white vinegar. Vinegar really helps with any and all smells. So I love to literally just pour some down the drain and let it sit for a little bit. 6. barkeepers friend for a shine ✨ And then barkeepers friend is the best. I use this for my stainless steel sink specifically for a shine. And then you can also use it for your garbage disposal. It's amazing. 7. method is the best wood surface cleaner I want to make sure all the surfaces are clean. This is my favorite cleaner for wood. I don't use this dining table too often, so because I'm leaving, I just want to make sure it's fresh, non-dusty. All the things. 8. microfiber cloths always! I'm just going to grab a microfiber. I'm going to use this to wipe down my surfaces and then show you where the dirty rags go. 9. wash rags separately We just plop it in the dirty rag bin. 10. comet to clean toilets! 🚽 Obviously going to make sure all the toilets are clean. This is my favorite toilet bowl cleaner along with the Clorox clinging bleach gel. This is incredible. 11. sprayway is the best glass cleaner 🍋 This definitely isn't necessary before a trip, but it just makes me feel good spraying away. I've used this glass cleaner I've used. I've used it for so long. Seriously, it works so well. 12. light a fresh candle while cleaning 🕯️ Also, I love to light a candle while cleaning to just set the tone. This one is amazing. The Mediterranean lemon. It just smells so fresh and so clean. 13. you need to use a disinfectant alongside meyers !!! I'm going to wipe down the remaining surfaces. So I like to use Lysol for just to clean and clear all the bacteria. And then I go over it with the Mrs. Meyer's. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. These are my two favorite scents for the summer. Lemon verbena and peony. And I also love the Mrs. Meyer's baking soda cream cleaner. It works really, really well on the stovetop. I use this along with the pink stuff. 14. baking soda + hydrogen peroxide + dawn dish soap = bye bye 🧼 stains I do have some stains I need to get out of my clothes. Mixing these three makes the best paste. If you let it sit for 24 hours, so I want to do it before I leave. My stain will be out. These are also great for hard water stains. 15. baking soda in the fridge to help prevent smells Also on the topic of baking soda and smells. This is the best thing ever for the fridge. You can get this at any grocery store. I'm pretty sure. And you stick it in the corner of your fridge and it kind of just sucks up any stinky food smells and your fridge won't stink. Like a smelly fridge is my nightmare. So this is chef's kiss. 16. great for stubborn grease marks on stovetop No one talks about this enough, but I love this Mrs. Meyer's baking soda cream cleaner for the stovetop. It works really, really well. I use this along with the pink stuff.
