Are gaming laptops the move in 2026? We all know how expensive gaming laptops have become. It's lowkey and nobody knows when it's going to get better. And not everyone has the space for a bulky tower desktop PC and not everyone wants to build one. So where does that leave people who want a gaming PC? It leaves them with gaming laptops or mini PCs. That's not the worst thing. Let's chat about gaming laptops. If you value portability in any way, a gaming laptop is going to be the best deal for you. You can't bring your desktop tower everywhere. You can bring your laptop. If you travel a lot and you like to game, you throw it in your bag and you're good to go. And then you can dock it at home to another monitor. So you've got a two monitor setup and there's your PC. Lately, I feel like gaming laptops have gotten and lighter than they used to be. Previously, that was a gigantic drawback. I remember my first gaming laptop was this huge, chunky Alienware laptop and I brought it with me when backpack shopping because I wanted to make sure that this gigantic laptop would fit in the bag that I bought. And buying this huge backpack for the laptop, it was a nightmare. The things we did back then are definitely better that now.
