I think a big bounce could be in store for Micron stock on Monday. Of course markets are closed here in the US today for July 4th, but of course international markets are still open. Did you catch what happened in the South Korean Kospi? The Kospi opened up, sold off sharply to begin the day, selling off as much as 4.5%, and then had this huge rally here, seeing the index close up just shy of 6% on the day. The South Korean market is heavily dominated by semiconductor stocks and I think some read-throughs to the U.S. stocks for next week. After a tough week of selling for US chip stocks, they're much like a coiled spring right now. And if this good news carries over to next week, I think we could see a big snap back rally in the US chip stocks. What do you think about this idea for Monday? Tell me in the comments.
