Let's play a game of what would you do if you were me based on the scenario I'm in right now with Micron, both holding the stock and also holding an option. So I bought into Micron a couple weeks ago and I also bought a call option because I want to get more exposure to the stock, but I don't really want to invest a lot more shares of Micron. So I bought a call option, 80 strike call option for June 26th. And as of today, that call option is up 145%. And so I'm not a guy that likes to do a lot of risk-taking. And so I'm trying to decide, do I sell my option now and just take what I've made, or do I let it run because it just broke through an all-time high today? While my gut tells me to sell and just lock in my profits, I'm also playing with house money right now because it's up so much that even if it retreated a little bit tomorrow or the next day, I still made some good money on it. But part of me just feels like it's going to keep running. So if your option call was up 145% on Micron and they just broke through the all-time high today, would you sell it now and lock in your profits or do you gamble and just keep letting it run? Let me know in the comments.
