Why this happens is because the PlayStation 5 doesn't use thermal paste or a thermal pad. It uses something called liquid metal. And liquid metal is a liquid, which is and but it's better at dissipating heat away from the PS5 into the heatsink, so you won't have a heating problem, unlike the PS4, which was pretty much an airplane. And by standing the PS5 up vertically, gravity pulls down and as you can see, it can damage other parts on the motherboard. All just droop down on one side and not P. U. properly. And that can ruin the lifespan of your PS5 and I don't think any of you want that because GTA 6 is on the way. So go ahead and put that 5 flat instead of vertical if you want to preserve it for GTA 6.
