everyone keeps asking what planners I use, but I think people are asking the wrong question because the reality is that I could hand you my planner today and that would not make you any more organized because the planner is not what changed my life. is the actual habit of opening it every day. but since so many of you have asked, I'm gonna show you the my planner stack, the three planners that I'm actually using and more importantly the reason why they work for me. my daily planner is the 7 by 9 Erin Condren Daily Duo. I love it because I can literally run my life from one page. everything goes in here from personal, work, content creation notes, meal plans, meal planning habits, everything! and my brain really likes having everything in one place. so if you're someone who wears lots of different hats or you feel like your brain always has 20 tabs open, maybe a layout like this might be something that could work for you. for budgeting, I actually don't use a budget planner. I realized that every budget planner that I've purchased in the past expected me to budget the way that they would budget and I would just stop. so eventually I realized that I wasn't the problem, it's just that I needed something that I could modify to make it work with how my brain likes to see information. so this planner is basically a notebook with calendar pages and I've been able to build my own budgeting system instead of fitting into somebody else's. so if you like customizing things or haven't found really a system that has worked for you, don't be afraid to think outside the box. and then for journaling and memory keeping, I'm using the Bloom Daily Planner 8.5 by 11 horizontal layout, which is really what has made all the difference. I realized that I wasn't avoiding journaling because I didn't enjoy it. I was avoiding giant blank pages that made me feel like I had to write a and something profound every single day. so this gives me just enough room to capture all my daily memories without feeling overwhelmed. so if you always wanted to journal but just never found a way to stick with it, a smaller more structured layout might be the thing for you and make it easier. what I hope that you take away from this is that none of these planners are magic. x none of these planners are magic. the best is not the one I use. the best is not the prettiest one. the best is not the most expensive one. but it is the one that you actually keep opening every single day. follow for more systems that reduce overwhelm and stick! the best is the one you open every day.
