I am a huge fan of my Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine. And I truly think this is the best affordable sewing machine option for anyone looking to get into sewing, anyone looking to needlepoint, finish, quilt, or sew through tough fabrics. She can do it all. My qualifications is that I have been sewing on a sewing machine since I was 8 years old. I haven't had many sewing machines in my life, but I do know what I like and what I don't like. So here's a quick review of my sewing machine and why I think this is the perfect option for you. So the number one question I know you're probably asking yourself is how much does this specific sewing machine cost and where can I get it? This specific model of Singer Heavy Duty that I have, which is the model 4411, which to give you an example of what that means. It just has dials over here. She does not have any digital screen. That's pretty much it. Currently, this machine is actually on sale right now for $189.99 at Michael's. That is where I got my sewing machine. You can buy these directly from the Singer website. You can get these at Michael's, you can get these at honestly a lot of stores. It's a pretty common sewing machine. They also come in a light pink color, a hot pink color, and a light blue color, and a white. I'm seeing. When I got my bad boy, I do not think they had all those colors. I am a little bit envious of the girly ones who have, especially like the light blue one, that's right up my alley. But even like the pink or the white. You know me and my OG gray Singer Heavy Duty are very happy together. And that is all that matters. This is the absolute best sewing machine for the money. At that price point is honestly insane for the capabilities of this sewing machine. Like I showed you guys, this is a pretty simplistic sewing machine. There is not much to it. There is not a whole big fancy LCD display. There are not a whole bunch of options. What this sewing machine does so well, and what I love the most specifically about the Singer Heavy Duty versus any other option at this price point is the heavy duty capabilities. Like I showed you guys, this machine can handle any thickness of fabric that I put through it, whether or not I'm up cycling jeans, throwing sewing through tough needle point canvas or sewing through quilt, where I'm stitching for hours straight on my machine. Sewing machines can be very temperamental. And if you're a person that has been sewing for a long time and used a variety of machines, you know what I'm talking about. Why I needed my sewing machine when I was looking to replace the machine I had for years prior was because it is extremely reliable. The end of the day, all the bells and whistles and things that they try to sell you on these different sewing machines, nine times out of 10, you're not going to use those features. Couple key features that it is helpful if your sewing machine can do, like, you know, putting button holes and things. I think it's really important to pick a machine also that can wind a bobbin for you. That's this guy right here. I do not want to have a whole separate apparatus to wind a bobbin. That's crazy to me. Or always have to buy pre-wound bobbins. Absolutely not. All the key features are there on this machine, even though it's very simplistic. To be honest, because it's so simplistic, it has less issues. Build quality of this machine is literally a freaking tank. It's all really, really nice metal and thick plastic. Long story short, why I recommend this machine to anyone that ever asks me what sewing machine to get is A, it has an incredible price point. B, it's extremely heavy duty durable. And C, it's incredibly reliable. And number four, it's so easy to learn on. So if this is your first time sewing and you're looking for a first sewing machine, I think this is an incredible option for that. Or if you're someone who has sewn for years and years and years and just want a good quality, reliable sewing machine that will also last you another multiple decades. This is your girl. She's the one.
