I never make videos like this. But I got to make this video because I want to go get my nails done the other day and my nails look crazy. So get comfortable because this is gonna be a story, y'all. So let me show y'all the inspiration picture of what I was hoping that my nails would look like. I wanted a real cute, just soft, mellow, creamy yellow color. Real cute, y'all. I called the nail salon and I booked an appointment for 6:30. I asked them, are you guys gonna be able to do my pedicure and manicure within that time because they close at 8 o'clock. And she was like, yeah, we can do it. So I go in, the guy does my pedicure first. The color is so cute. I'm loving it. Everything's going good. Then he starts to do my manicure. I show him my picture. I say, hey, this is what I want. He's like, okay. So he puts the nails on. He cuts them down. I said, hey, can you file them on the sides because I don't want them that wide. So he files them down. Then he starts to put the acrylic on. And when he puts the acrylic on, they get fatter again. And I'm like, you know, I don't want them that fat. He just kept telling me to relax. So I'm like, okay, I'm not gonna say anything anymore. I'm just gonna let him do what he's doing. He said he's been doing this for four years. So I'm just gonna shut up and let him do him. He's done with my nails. And they look like this. This is what they look like, y'all. I asked for these nails, and this is what I got. It's 8:20. He is not about to fix anything, even if I don't like them. So I don't say anything. I tell myself, I'm just gonna call back in the morning and come back and get them fixed. So that's what I do. I call the salon back in the morning. I say, hey, I got my nails done yesterday, but they're way too wide and I need them fixed. The lady said, we're booked all day. So we can't get you in right now. You're gonna have to come back later. And I said, literally, I just need you guys to fix these. This is not a mistake that I made. I need you guys to fix these because I'm going out of town and I can't go out of town with my nails looking like this. So this lady literally files my nails down. She does six minutes worth of work and she puts an extra coat of paint on top. Literally charges me $35. So at this point, I'm all in for these nails that look crazy. At 1:43, the lady said, we're booked all day. So we can't get you in right now. You're gonna have to come back later. And I said, literally, I just need you guys to fix these. This is not a mistake that I made. I need you guys to fix these because I'm going out of town and I can't go out of town with my nails looking like this. So this lady literally files my nails down.
