I have been dying to try Fufu and Nigerian food for the longest time. I finally stopped by Veronica's Kitchen in Inglewood, California. And if you like bold flavors, I definitely recommend trying it. I got so lucky and these were the last of the puff puffs. It's supposed to be like a sweet donut. Personally, I need my bread a little sweeter. So if you're not into sweet things, that bread might be for you. I learned that there are so many different types of fufu. We went for the yam and I did expect it to be bland, but it was not. And I honestly really liked the texture. It's almost like a fresh mochi. We went for the chicken and egusi soup. And it was so addicting and filling. The fried chicken inside was probably one of the best I've ever had.
