I really need a job, so I printed out my resume like it's 2006 and I'm going to stop by different businesses and drop off my resume to see if that does anything. First stop to pick up my copies. I got 10 copies of my resume and a little folder. I don't know if I'm going to make it to all of the 10 places, but at least I'm coming in correct. First spot is an all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue. I'm going to go inside, I'll let you know what they say. Ended up stopping by two places, they're right next to each other. So the first was an all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue place. I left my resume and they told me to come back tomorrow. And then the other place was like a bazaar and they had a sign outside that said server wanted, waitress or waiter. And so I stopped by, they asked me to leave my number and I left a copy of my resume and they said they might get back to me like today. On to the next. To keep my mood up, I'm going to play Disney throwbacks. Those always make me smile. This stop was like a family market, an Italian family market. Got to speak with the manager, he asked me a few questions, like a little mini interview. Not sure how I did honestly, but he asked me to fill out an application and to leave my resume, so we'll see. I just dropped off my resume at another place. This one was for like a bar. I know they do like live jazz here because I've been here before. And it wasn't open yet, but the girl that was outside, she's waiting for them to open and she just got hired, so she said she didn't mind holding onto my resume and passing it along. So left my name, my resume, and my availability is open. So let's see. Walked into two other places, one was a med spa, the other one was like a skincare place. Both not hiring, told me to apply online. I stopped by a flower shop, two restaurants that I wanted to stop by, they're closed. And then there were other two spots over there that I wanted to go to, but they're also closed. So on to the next. I stopped by a food bazaar, they said they're not hiring. I stopped by a bakery next door, they said they might be, that he actually just got hired. He gave me the manager's number so I can text them. Just got out of another market and they told me that their manager wasn't there, to come back tomorrow before 2:00. I just stopped by a produce market. The manager's not there. She gave me an application, she said to come back tomorrow after 10:00. Stopped by like a fur spot, they said they're not hiring at the moment. And then there were two other places in the same little plaza and they're just super slow, so not looking very busy right now. I stopped by another supermarket, the manager was there. He asked me a few questions like if I've ever was a cashier before, it was a supermarket. And he had me fill out an application and I'm going to go to one more supermarket and then I'm going home. The last supermarket I went to, the manager's not there. They said I could come back anytime before 4:00. So I'm going to go home, but I don't know. I guess we'll see how it goes.
