No One Is Asking This About Mitch McConnell I don't mean to throw a wrench into the conversation about Mitch McConnell and his health. Like, you know, people talking about his health deteriorating over the last few years, him being pushed around, um, Congress in a wheelchair, him being missing for the last few weeks in the hospital. Um, and people speculating on what kind of health he's in is whether or not he has capacity to maintain function in his job. His wife has absconded to China, which. Which, a lot of disabled and chronically ill people are left by their intimate partners when their health is deteriorating. So it's not really like, a new thing. But what nobody really is talking about is the fact. It's the fact that a house worth, like, millions of dollars probably is sitting empty with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of disability equipment. I know that man has a hoyer lift. I know he put in a ramp. And unless he was getting Sponge baths for the last few weeks or years, I'm sure that there are bars and or an accessible shower and bathtub combination, not to mention the potential accessibility van that's at least worth $100,000. Like, let's be for real for a second. And all that sitting empty in the middle of the D.C. somewhere. And that house ain't gonna be sold in that condition. People don't like to buy accessible houses. They like to buy them and then tear all that Shit out. What I hear is a market opportunity. Or at the very least squatters rights. You try to take away home and community based services, we're gonna take yours.
