New K-beauty launches and trends
I'm actually excited about
Ingredient first look and
where to purchase
New from Dr. Reju-All
Dr. Reju-All products are Korean pharmacy best sellers for good reason. The brand is developed by pharmacists and doctors and have thoughtful ingredients offering for skincare that actually get results.
They have 3 new items, including their first
sunscreen and a targeted dark spot cream, but
what I'm most excited for is their PDLLA cream
Available: Style Korean (code OLIVIA SKINSCARE)
Advanced PDRN Calming Sun Serum
Claims: lightweight serum texture
with no greasy residue
Star ingredients: PDRN,
madecassoside and guaiazalene for
skin calming and repair
I'm just excited to try their first spf
Advanced Retino-Mela Tone Cream
Claims: improve uneven skin tone
while delivering intensive hydration
Star ingredients: 2 types of Retinoids,
tranexamic acid, alpha arbutin,
niacinamide, 10 peptides
Not groundbreaking ingredients but
has a solid lineup. It states can be
used twice a day so I'm assuming the
Retinoids are very mild.
PDLLA
Juvelook is already a popular
skin booster injectable and
now the company released a
skincare line featuring PDLLA
and Dr. Reju-All just released a
PDLLA cream
This is one I'm most excited about. I
think PDLLA will be the hot new
ingredient this year as skincare
brands are taking their cue from
aesthetic medical treatments
PDLLA is a synthetic, biodegradable
collagen bio stimulator (triggers your
body to produce collagen). It's
usually injected (like Sculptra and
Juvelook). Obviously these
ingredients on the surface of skin
won't have same impact but I'm
curious to see what benefits they do
have
Available: Style Korean
(OLIVIA SKINSCARE)
Iunik Unique Lab serums
Iunik is another brand that doesn't
have a large selection but what they
do release always seems well
thought out ingredient wise. They
just released a new product line with
3 targeted serums
@iunik_official
Available so far: Iunik direct website,
Olive Young Global, YesStyle
Volufiline Grape PDRN
I'm most excited for this one which
has 5% volufiline which helps plump
skin volume. It also has Bakuchiol and
6 peptides making this a promising
serum for mature skin.
TXA Niacinamide PDRN
There's a million TXA &
Niacinamide serums but this
one also has Kojic acid,
glutathione and arbutin
Azelaic acid PDRN
Everyone is dropping an
azelaic acid serum but it's
worth noting that this one is
Niacinamide free and fungal
acne safe and has 12% azelaic
acid, panthenol, ceramides
and zinc for oil control
Dr. Althea Rapid Hypochlorous Acid
Rescue Mist
Dr. Althea makes 2 of my favorite mists so I was
excited to see they released a Hypochlorous acid
spray. I wasn't able to find a ton of info on it but
from the ingredient list it looks like this one is
specifically created for acne prone skin. It has tea
tree water and extract, zinc PCA, eucalyptus
leaf extract and Hypochlorous acid
Available: I've only seen this on
Dr. Althea TT shop so far
Korean sunscreens for body
Nothing groundbreaking here but I
am very happy to see quite a few
brands adding sunscreens
specifically for the body (and in larger
sizes) to their lineups and I hope more
brands follow this trend
