I don't think Christians understand how hard it actually is to accept Grace. And I'm gonna explain what I mean. As someone who's very competitive and a perfectionist, I always think, how many more times am I gonna keep falling in the same sin and God is going to extend Grace? I always think, when am I gonna get to the finish line? I always think that, okay, like if I'm not sitting on this area and, you know, I just stop sitting in these areas that I've been struggling in, that like now I'm there and now I'm perfect. And then when I fall test and I feel like I'm starting all over again, like I need to rebuild a relationship with God when it's just a stumbling block, not the whole entire relationship as a whole. I think that is so hard to accept grace because for us, we know that if we keep making the same mistake, our time in jail would increase, right? So if you maybe get off with the miss to me or you commit the same crime, now you're in a felon. Like it keeps increasing, but with God, there's a certain grace that he's allows us and so it's not how many times you send it's how many times are you going to try better. For some people if you're struggling with lying. Okay, you accomplish doing one week without saying a petty lie. That is so much more than just saying, okay, I'm stopping lying. And then as soon as you lie, you fall into that cycle and for me, anytime that I feel like I fall into sin or I am falling into sin, I run away from God because I feel like I'm not worth it anymore. That I've already made the same mistake so many times that I don't deserve his grace, but reading throughout Romans, it talks about how his grace is sufficient for us. And that obviously because we've been given grace that we should continue singing. That means knowingly singing and knowingly going into those sins. But when you fall into sins, obviously the Bible also says that, you know, a righteous man falls seven times and he gets back up. So sometimes we discount ourselves and we don't actually accept grace. And acceptance of grace is part of your faith walk because there is no condemnation in knowing Christ. condemnation comes from the enemy. And the Bible, Proverbs talks about it in Romans also talks about that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. So because you sin, you take that, you work on it, you start to listen to the conviction and you get better better choices. Everyone's at their own area with what they're struggling with and God is patient during that path. And I've been learning this like the past two weeks because I always think sometimes like with God like I just need to have it all together. Like that is not what it is. Like he wants you broken. And matter of fact, when you are falling into these sins, that's when he wants you the most because Christ came to save those who were ill. He didn't come to save the saved. He didn't come for that. He came to heal people, restore people. Restoration is a process and transformation is a process. So be patient in your process.
