Best Museums in Salem, MA as a Salem Local If you're coming to Salem Massachusetts this spooky season here my top museums is a Salem local that you should check out The witch house isn't technically a museum but you can go in and see what life was like in the sixteen hundreds for just twelve dollars The Salem Witch Museum is kind of a classic but honestly it looks cooler on the outside I highly highly recommend the Salem Witch Board Museum The owner John knows everything you've ever wanted to know about Ouija boards but we're afraid to ask And I honestly think if you're afraid of Ouija boards you should check it out because it might cure your fear Up next is the Salem Museum of Torture It is exactly what it sounds like if you like torture if you horror stuff It's definitely a little graphic But you will certainly learn about a darker part of history If you want something a little bit lighter the Halloween Museum is great If you were really into like the nineties Halloween vibes this is the one for you They do give you 3D glasses and it has a lot of props from like classic Halloween movies. Again if you wanna be bathed in nostalgia this is the museum for you Up next is my probably favorite place in all of Salem Nightmare Gallery the Monster Museum If you've ever wanted to see life-size figures of every single one of your favorite monsters this is a place to go pro tip: do the VIP lifting of the coffin lid tour HONESTLY POSITIVELY DO NOT OPEN Honestly I could spend the whole day in here Cuz I'm a certified monster lover If you're looking for a museum to spend the whole day in and really learn about the witch trials of Peabody Essex is great They have so many cool exhibits the exhibits change every season But you could genuinely spend the whole day in here Last but certainly not least again not technically a museum but the Satanic Temple is an art gallery with some really insane pieces they have original They do feature different artists every season And again even if you're scared maybe you'll go and you'll learn something Not to mention they also have a Baphomet zoltar But that's all I got friends and I'll see you in Salem
