I didn’t further explain anything. I just wrote the class a story because sometimes a story IS the explanation. Took a half hour to make, but the engagement was real. I didn’t really start the day as normal with a jolly good morning and our usual routine. We all sat down, I stayed silent and just stood at the front with my arms folded, sad body language. I just put the title slide on the tv until I had everyone’s attention. Little bit of a shift really took effect by that point as the students were wondering what on earth was going on before it hit them. Really made a point to acknowledge those students that lost their opportunity because of those around them. Re-upload from last year
