Technically, it wasn’t a dedicated influencer screening 😭😂 In all seriousness, I do understand why people have different opinions on creators being invited to film premieres. If someone is only there for the photo and doesn’t really care about the film itself, I can completely understand why that frustrates people. For me though, I’ve loved films for as long as I can remember, I get to talk about them for a living, and I’ve been lucky enough to work in the film industry too. So getting invited to something like this honestly felt surreal. I know it’s an opportunity so many film fans would love to have, and it’s definitely not something I take for granted. I also think social media has become a huge part of how people discover films and get excited about them. There are so many creators who genuinely love cinema and just want to share that passion with other people, and I’m really grateful that I’ve been able to do that too.
