I'm deeply comforted by assuming that Jesus assuming that we will be anxious, angry, lustful, all the things, the sermon on the mountain, like that scripture, Matthew 5 through 7. I am just amazed every time I read it because I'm like, yeah, he knows. Like, he knows our temptations for all these different things. And even the passage, the one that's been on my mind the most recently within that, been, don't be anxious for anything, which is often times by shame, anxious, um, which is not helpful, but don't be anxious for anything. And he talks about, um, clothes and food, like two things that humans can be anxious about. And I find that so comforting. He's like, don't worry about what you put on your body and don't worry about your food. Like, there are more important things to worry about, which is so true. I'm gosh, years, 2000 years ago, we're they're also worried about what they're going to make for dinner and like what they're going to wear tomorrow. Like, there's something comforting, comforting that God knows us so well and so deeply. To go to him, like scripture tells us, don't be anxious for anything, but by supplication, like, reframing our anxiety, which can still exist, bringing being, okay, telling just this, distress. to resolve, um, comforting so deeply.
