5 Bible verses I believe you should arm yourself with and more importantly, pray with when you're going through tough times and need God's comfort. You may want to save this and share this with a Christian brother or sister too. The first one is Psalm 46 verse 1. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Understand this, the Bible did not say you will not go through difficult moments, but the promise of God is he will be in there with you. He is your refuge, your strength begins to fail. The second one is Isaiah 41 verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. This is a simple reminder that you do not have to face everything with your own strength. You will definitely get tired and confused, but God says I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. And in your weakness, God will never abandon you. The third one is simple but very powerful and I love it so much. It's from 1 Peter chapter 5 verse 7. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Now, this tells us that God does not only care about the big problems. He cares about everything, even the things you cannot tell anybody about. So bring them to him. This is God inviting you to lay all on him. The fourth one is Luke chapter 12 verse 25 to 26. Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? I love this verse so much because of the practicality of it. As human beings, yes, of course, we'll worry. We'll think about tomorrow. We imagine everything that could go wrong. But Jesus reminds that worrying cannot change tomorrow. It only steals the peace we could have today. So do what you can. Pray about what you cannot control and trust God with what happens next. The last one is from Joshua chapter 1 verse 9. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. Now, this is a simple reminder that as human beings, there will be times when we'll be afraid. But courage is the ability to move even though fear is present because you know that God is with you. Always remember that wherever this journey takes you, whatever you are going through, you are not going through it all by yourself. God is definitely with you. And maybe that is the word someone needs to hear today. Difficult seasons will surely come, but that does not mean God has forgotten about you. So pray with these scriptures. Speak them over your life and return to them whenever you feel heavy. And if you know anyone fighting a battle quietly, share this video with them. You never know. Maybe one Bible verse is what someone needs to hold onto for another day. My name is Kwabena Afriyie Akoto-Bamfo. God bless you and I'll see you in the next one.
