While animating I realized I needed eye blinking. I thought I would just create a mask for the eyelids and move them vertically, but halfway remembered the fun of my app. I wondered what if eye blinking could be smooth. Realized I was the app dev so I could just add whatever I want. And accidentally built the liquify tool. I went back to the app, I created masks of the face, the top of the eyes and the pupils. I knew I wasn't finished, so I started painting overlapping parts, removing face and hair from the eyelids. At this point! I rigged my character in the same app making working. I started animating. First moving the pupils. After that, I used liquify to close the eyes. I keyframed the blend strength of liquify to close and open the eyes. And suddenly. Eye blinking felt smooth. And with that. My manga animation app got
