Steps: How I decluttered my entire home 🏡 • 1. One big sweep through your entire home. Get rid of anything that makes you mad. • 2. Bedroom. Start with your nightstand and work your way through the room until your bedroom is perfected… except your clothes. • 3. Move on to the smaller spaces. Think about your daily routine. Start with your bathroom, then the things you reach for every single day—coat room, shoes, vacuums, under the sink, and all the small spaces within your home. • 4. Kitchen. I rearranged my kitchen a million different times, and it’s still an ongoing thing. Dedicate a big chunk of time to it, then keep going back and tweaking it. • 5. Toys. Do one big purge, then understand you’ll have to keep going back. It may take time to find a system that actually works. • 6. Clothes. Declutter by season, but when you’re first doing a big declutter, if it doesn’t fit well, let it go. If it holds onto bad energy from that time in your life, let it go. • 7. Big projects. I spent 20 minutes a day last summer decluttering our entire basement. It felt overwhelming, and I couldn’t dedicate a whole weekend, so I just chipped away at it. ✨ Just know your home takes time. I hope this gave you some inspiration and motivation. I’d love to hear what you think!
