Before you tell me that you're not interested in crypto, you need to hear this. Because while millions of people are still arguing whether crypto is a scam, some of the biggest banks in the UK have quietly been using crypto technology in the background. Lloyd's Banking Group, for example, they've completed their first public blockchain transaction using tokenized bank deposits. And at the same time, you've got Barclays, HSBC, NatWest, Nationwide, and even Santander, all in a project to test tokenized Sterling deposits. Think about that for a second, because these aren't crypto companies. These are the same banks that people trust with their salaries, their mortgages, their savings. So if they're investing time, money, and resources into this blockchain technology, maybe we do need to start thinking about which parts of crypto are going to become part of traditional finance. Because the truth is, you can dislike it, you can ignore it, you can do whatever you want. But if your bank is preparing for a future where they're using blockchain technology, ignoring it could be a bit like ignoring the internet in the early days, because you didn't like websites. You don't have to invest, but you should understand what's changing.
