Hi, I'm John, I'm a staff software engineer with over 10 years of experience. I am the lead maintainer of the open source ladderly.io and one of my areas of specialization as a software engineer is in applied AI. And I am a fantastic hater of AI assistant memory systems. So I pulled up your project, I installed it. The first thing I'm doing is I'm making sure that you have a cloud.md and similar instruction files, maybe an agents.md, but I really like cloud.md. It's not just for cloud code, it's for a lot of the agents. I'm looking at that. The second thing I'm looking at is your skills and plugins. And in particular, I'm going to disable memory hook. If you just ask cloud with like a haiku 44 or higher class model, really any of the decent models these days, it will know how to build a hook for you. There are a few versions of these hooks I prefer to implement as a pre-tool use hook, but probably your cloud won't ask you that and it will just make the right version if you just ask it to make a hook that blocks use of the memory system and steer the AI assistant to write documentation into the repository so it can be shared with the team. That's the goal.
