judy called she doesn't like her hair too dark yeah i warned her it would be a drastic change why don't people listen we all have to learn our lessons on our own honey it's such a waste of time and hair dye do you remember when you were little and you insisted on getting the dorothy hamill haircut but the moment you looked in the mirror you cried i hated that haircut you were so adorable but that's the thing sometimes we have to do the thing we've been wanting to do to know that it's not for us so we can move on with our lives yeah i get that what's something you wanted to do but then when you did it you realized it wasn't for you i know just the thing when you were a baby we left you with mama sylvia your father and i we go to key largo to do one of those snorkel on the reef trips so your father mister sea legs himself who's a surfer a certified diver he's in the water looking like a merman i'm bobbing around like a coconut adrift i start getting so seasick i have a wedgie so bad i'm seeing stars grr but i'm trying to hang in there and i look down into the water and i see a barracuda oh my god oh my god the thing is just sitting there still looking at me like i owe him money i say oh no whoa oh no so before we had gone into the water the snorkel instructor says you may see some tropical fish you may see some sea turtles you may even see some sharks she says but whatever you do do not thrash in the water because that excites apex predators now when she said apex predators i didn't even wanna go in that sounds frightening why did you do it because i know how exhilarating it can feel to push through your fears and i knew it would mean a lot to your father but the moment i saw that barracuda staring at me there was nothing more important than getting back to that boat and home safely to my baby girl mom then what happened i slowly made my way back to the boat where i got even more seasick and proceeded to vomit in a white bucket barf me out and that's exactly what i did honey so snorkeling is my never ever again
