Today marks one year since the Columbus Fire & EMS family was forever changed. Out of heartbreak came purpose. We created Fireground Mindset to honor those we’ve lost, raise awareness for mental health, and remind every person fighting a silent battle, that hope remain remains and they never have to face it alone. To the ones we have lost because the weight became too heavy… You are deeply missed. Your memory lives on in every life you touched. You will never be forgotten. And to the ones silently carrying battles no one else can see… Please stay. This chapter is not your whole story. There are people who would rather walk beside you through your hardest days than have to live without you. Keep going. One more hour. One more day. One more step.
