400 Credit Score = Let's make more bad decisions

Some of these people with bad credit, if flabbergasts me. Their decision making. We had a lady come in bad credits, uh, in the 400s. 120 days delinquent as of today, 120 days delinquent on her mortgage. Her Lipo was so delinquent that two days ago, her statement on the electric said that they turned off her electricity. Um, two repossessions, one within the past three months. Um, a home, home. We got her approved on that Kia Optima. We get in the car to test drive it. First thing she says to me is, yes, so nothing's written in stone, right? And I'm thinking, what the heck does that even mean? What, what does that even mean? But I responded, I said, no, not until we sign the contract. She's like, all right, all right. So we test drive it. Car drives great, of course. It's nothing crazy. It's a 2020. Nothing crazy. And, uh, she goes in the office and she's like, I'm gonna think about it. How long do I have to think about it? And I'm like, listen, this approval is for today. If you came tomorrow, sure. I mean, as long as the car is here and the approval is active, the bank is willing to maintain the approval, then it's yours. She's like, all right, I'll come back if I want it. And I'm just thinking to myself, she went to OK cars. And OK cars couldn't get her done. And OK cars gets everyone done. They have cheap cars, they're purely buy here pay here. You know, it just blows my mind. You know, she has a reliable car there. I talked to one of my other salesmen and I finally figure out why she left. I don't start the interaction with her. One of my other salesmen did and then we had multiple people come in, so I had to take over the interaction. First thing she said to my other salesman was, can I get any Benz? You know, she wants a BMW, she wants a Benz with her 400 beacon. Dude, just get something reliable. Come on. And I'm not saying that you shouldn't get what you want, but if you have 400 beacon, and you have just so many things that are rolling against you. Why do you want to get into a BMW or a Benz? Like, it doesn't make sense. We got her a decent payment. She's in the 300s. I don't understand. I don't understand. It's like the worst credit I see, the more bad decisions they want to make.
