These are seeds of the Gympie-Gympie (Unalive Plant) AKA the Unalive Plant and today we are going to attempt to grow them. This nettle relative's full government name is Dendrocnide moroides and it is said to have a sting so painful and long-lasting it makes you want to unalive yourself. That said, we are using the crummiest gloves I have ever personally used in my life. While the seeds do not contain the stinging needles, this is just a safeguard. Now to answer some very important questions like why? Easier answer: why not? If this is your first time visiting the page, I like doing weird, ill-advised things like this. These are easy to grow. I just used normal potting soil and surface sowed them. Now some information on Dendrocnide moroides. Unsurprisingly, this stinging nettle relative comes from Australia because whenever you look at something that is toxic or super dangerous, it's from Australia. After sowing them, I put them in a warm area and soon... No way! What is potentially the most ill-advised project I've ever embarked on has sprung into life. At this size, they don't actually have any stinging needles, so they are harmless. But as soon as they make their first leaves, they are no longer harmless.
