Everyone jokes about carry-on sizes, but the real stress of flying with a dog is the rules. The weight limit is usually around 8kg for the dog and carrier combined. Since Lex clocks in at 4.5kg, we clear the scale no problem. The hardest part isn't the weight, it's the fact that he has to stay completely tucked inside the bag while we board and for the whole flight.
