Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
An incoming student of mine requested for a refund because my store was not aesthetically pleasing enough for her to learn. And this taught me two things this business. Did I refund her? Yes, I did. Prior to my registration, I had about six to seven students who were actually learning. She was my client who had actually booked my services a lot. And definitely she knows I'm good at what I do. The problem was where she's coming to learn is not aesthetically pleasing enough for her to learn. Yes, aesthetics are important, right? But it also taught me that going at your own pace, and being good at what you do, even if you're under the rock, people will come find you. The second thing it taught me was keeping what you're doing, and being good at what you do, aesthetically pleasing, is what you're looking out for. Not so long after then, I got my new place. Beautified it according to my budget. Because I will not go beyond my budget. And this is what you should learn. And I've learned that sometimes we focus so much on how the place looks, that we forget to ask the most important question. What am I going to leave you here with? Because when the class is over, it's not the walls you're taking home, it's the knowledge, the confidence and the skill. And if that's what you're looking for, I will see you in my September class.
