Baby waited for his family to come back... but no one ever did. 💔 This sweet 9-year-old Border Collie mix was adopted from us years ago and recently came back to the shelter after he was found as a stray. 😔 We contacted his previous owner hoping they’d come get him, but they never showed up. 💔 The saddest part is that Baby still loves people just as much as ever. ❤️‍🩹 He’ll happily walk right by your side, give you kisses, ask for belly rubs, and just wants someone to love him again. ❤️ Baby is everything you’d want in a best friend. 💜 He’s easy to walk, appears housebroken, knows sit and paw, loves playing tug and chasing a tennis ball, and when he’s ready to relax, he’ll curl up with a blanket for a nap. Everyone here loves him. 🥰 Our staff and volunteers describe him as sweet, gentle, easygoing, and just an all-around great dog. He’s friendly with other dogs too, but would do best in a home without cats. He’s 9 years old, but please don’t let that stop you. Baby still has so much life, so much love, and so many happy days ahead of him.
