Getting a dog solo in my 20s as a full time software engineer I did not think I would be getting a dog. but literally in 15 minutes, there will be a dog in this house. If you're new here, I'm Zeem. I'm a software engineer building my dream life, I just moved to L.A. Getting a dog was not part of the plan at all. Feeling under prepared, but you gonna see how this goes. Okay. They're literally downstairs. And his name is Potato. Potato Jerome. It's a funny story. I'll explain later. Oh, you're in here with your leash, huh? Let's, um. Let me have you hold him. You see, this is how you stick them. And then you just lift up, put it around a pee pee, and then it sticks. Perfect. So this is Potato Jerome. and this will be my dog that I foster for the next two weeks. He is a rescue dog, and he's between two and 3. As far as his breed, we're not sure, but we think he's a Chihuahua pug mix. I always envision myself with a bigger dog, but I was surprised at how quickly I bonded with Potato Jerome. The timing worked perfectly because I'm taking time off of work. so we'll see if we vibe. Then I have a chance to adopt him.
