He one day just came in

He one day just came in and I'm like, Oh my God, babe. He was probably overwhelmed. Didn't even know how to be on a bed next to pillows. He's ripping them and chewing them. I'm sure this is edible. I have three cats, so I was worried. We decided to introduce him first to the kitten because kittens are playful. He did really well and the kitten loved it. I mean, they're becoming best friends. Slow down, bro! Now that in the house, I was like, "What do we have to do? What are the options?" But I did get background from the authorities. His name was Ghost. He had an owner who was a retired disabled veteran and someone gifted him the dog and he had the dog for maybe one hour and let the dog off the leash. And the dog took off. He's never seen the dog again. We contacted. We started sending him pictures and videos. No response. "Does this guy care about his animal?" I'm attached to this dog now and I'm not comfortable just giving him back to the owner. Because now I'm concerned. We were not prepared to take in a dog. But now I'm like, "I don't care." I want to adopt this dog, you know, just whatever it takes. We're willing to negotiate. We want to keep him. He wants to be here. But we didn't want to name him Ghost. I just felt like it associated him with a negative past. He needed a fresh start. He needed a fresh start. We decided to call him CJ. CJ. Good boy! Stay! I wanted to make sure right and legally. And I did hire Boston dog lawyers. So they talked to the owner and he wanted $800 for the dog that he knew for one hour that he got for free. So we paid him just, you know, to make sure this would all go away. Hi CJ! It was official. CJ was ours and now the real work starts. We have to hire a trainer, training him now. We corrected the bad behavior pretty quick. It was like that the first week or two, could not leave his side. Everything was about CJ's comfort. Is he okay? He's started laying on the bed and following me around the house. Whatcha doin'? I just want him to be included. You could just tell he wanted to. CJ is totally different dog. He was so lonely, very malnourished and very sickly. Now he kind of thinks he could do whatever he wants. That's my shoe. It's nothing we ever expected. But he deserves a beautiful life.
