Most people who are trying to sell you on TikTok Shop want you to go out there and quit your job. And honestly, I actually don't think you should do that. I think you should keep it. Because reality is the people who are actually winning at this, they're not desperate, they're not broke. Majority of them have a career, they have a business. And for a lot of them, they're retired with the money that they were smart with. They don't need to be rescued. They just want the peace of mind of having another stream of income coming on the side of what they're currently doing. And whatever you're earning right now, you're ultimately trading time for dollars. If you're anything like me, you know that there's a ceiling to it. You might be watching this video right now thinking like maybe I've already hit it. You can work 70 hours a week and the paycheck still doesn't change. I'll be the first one to tell you, I talk to people in this exact same spot every single day. And with that being said, let me walk you through a little bit more about what I do. I'm what's called a TikTok Shop vendor or a seller on the platform. I source products I sell on TikTok Shop, I never hold the inventory and I leverage TikTok Shop affiliates to make all the content for me. This allows me to not have to front any capital get started and also allows me to do this without making any content and doing this completely faceless. I'm not gonna sit here and promise that you're gonna be making $100,000 a month by doing this because the reality is you probably won't. And sure, some people do end up getting there. Guys like Mark, corporate job, 40 to 50 hour weeks, bring in 6 figures. But the majority of people that I work with, they're not looking for that. They're just looking for a secondary income stream of three to five thousand dollars a month. Truth is, that is extremely attainable with what's happening right now in TikTok Shop.
