What do you do if your phone starts expanding like this? So I saw a couple videos on the internet of people's phones starting to expand and they are not alone. I too am having some phones expand like like this Galaxy Note 10 is starting to expand and it's kind of a bummer. Basically what's happening is your phone battery is having problems. And when phone batteries have problems, they start to expand and they can get really dangerous. So sometimes you'll see like the screen start to pop off, you'll start to see the seal start to break and you can even get damaged to the outer part or the inner part of your phone from the expanding battery. And when phone batteries have problems, they start to expand. Number one thing not to do is puncture the battery. This will blow up your phone, probably. Things to do to prevent this phone from literally blowing up. Number one, I probably wouldn't charge it. This will immediately put electricity into this battery and accelerate the chemical breakdown that's happening in the battery. Do not compress it. Do not try to push the screen back down onto the phone like that. That could potentially blow up the battery and compress it. This phone is basically gonna be cooked and you're gonna need to get a new one. I'm sorry. Unless you're trying to replace the battery, you get this thing repaired and have them remove this expanding battery and put in a new one so that you don't have this problem and your phone should work fine.
