Cow Appreciation Day hit different this year. Four kids, one mom, and we ALL showed up in full cow gear to Chick-fil-A because free food is free money in our house. This is a real-life lesson my kids are learning: opportunities exist everywhere if you’re paying attention. A holiday promotion? That’s a chance to teach them about budgeting, making smart choices, and getting value for what we spend. We didn’t need to pay $60+ for dinner tonight — we dressed up, we had fun, and we fed our whole crew for free. Teaching them to look for wins, take advantage of legitimate deals, and understand that money moves aren’t always complicated. Sometimes they’re just… showing up as a cow.
