This slideshow debunks common myths about Bali belly, explaining that it's not caused by ice, water, weak stomachs, or street food itself. Instead, it identifies a single kitchen having a bad week as the culprit and promotes the Time2Eat app as a tool for travelers to identify safe eating spots.

5 things that DON'T cause Bali belly (and the 1 that does) Not the ice. Factory ice has a hole through it. Look for it. Not the water. You're not drinking tap anyway. Not your 'weak western stomach'. Locals get sick too, they just know where not to eat. Not street food itself. Some carts are cleaner than hotel kitchens. It's ONE kitchen having a bad week. The same spots, again and again. Travellers flag those spots on Time2Eat. Check before you eat.
